Bangladesh records 187 Covid deaths

 

Live Correspondent: Bangladesh recorded 187 Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours till Friday morning. Besides, 12,148 fresh cases were detected during the period.

The new numbers took the country’s death tally to 17,465  and the caseload to 10, 83, 922, according to a handout issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

At present, the positivity rate is 28.96 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 15.08 percent. The country saw tests of 41,947 samples in laboratories in 24 hours.

Some 8,536 people have recovered from the virus infection during the period. As of today, 9,14,343 people recovered from Covid-19 infection while the recovery rate is 84.36 percent.
