Minor boy Shabab Sarwar, dies of dengue

Live Correspondent: A 10-year-old minor boy died of dengue at a hospital in the capital early Thursday. Third grader Shabab Sarwar, son of ATN News assignment editor Sarwar Hossain, breathed his last at Dhaka's Square Hospital around 1:10am.

Shabab was admitted to the hospital on Monday and was taken to the hospital's ICU on the same day.

Arafat Siddique, a senior reporter of ATN News, confirmed his death. Shabab, a resident of Dhaka's Banasree, was put on life support on Wednesday.

Earlier on Tuesday, a teacher of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) died of dengue.

On July 7, a professor of Jagannath University (JnU) died of dengue.
