237 more die of Covid-19, 10,420 new cases reported

 

Live Correspondent: Two hundred thirty-seven more people died of coronavirus or Covid-19 in the country in the past 24 hours. In addition, 10,420 people were tested for Covid-19 positive during this period. To date, the country counted 23,398 deaths from the virus.

The total number of infections from corona as of today is 13 lakh 86 thousand 742. A press notification signed by the additional director general of the Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) Prof Dr. Nasima Sultana revealed the latest corona information on Wednesday.

According to the notification, some 13,313 people have recovered from the infection while receiving treatment at home and hospitals across the country in 24 hours.

So far, the number of total recoveries stands at 12 lakh 48 thousand 75. Mentionable, Bangladesh witnessed tests of 44,008 samples in a single day.
