Bangladesh logs 4,804 new Covid-19 cases, 139 deaths

Live Correspondent: Bangladesh on Sunday recorded 4,804 new infections and 139 deaths from coronavirus or Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. A press notification issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed this information on Sunday.
The country saw tests of 31,689 samples during the 24 hours period. With the declining trend in infections, the positivity rate dropped to 15.16 percent in the country.
The death rate was recorded at 1.73 percent. As of Sunday, 25,282 deaths from Covid-19 and 14 lakh 61thousand 998 cases were recorded.
Also, 8,453 patients were declared free of corona infection during the last 24 hours.
