Live Correspondent: The educational institutions will be closed again if the Covid situation worsens further in Bangladesh, said Health Minister Zahid Maleque.The Minister said this while talking to a journalist after visiting a center for dental college entry test in Dhaka.

While talking about vaccination of students aged below 17, he said that children of this age have been vaccinated in only a few countries on a trial basis.

Bangladesh plans to inoculate children aged between 10 and 17 once the WHO clearance comes through, added the minister.

The educational institutions of the country are set to open on September 12. The basic class routine has been prepared and will be followed in all academic institutions across the country.

According to a new routine, classes of two subjects of the SSC and HSC candidates of 2021 will be taken from Saturday to Thursday while classes of two subjects of the SSC and HSC candidates of 2022 will be held on Saturday and Sunday.

In addition, students of class six will get their lessons in schools on Monday, class seven on Tuesday, class eight Wednesday, and class nine on Thursday. Students at the secondary level will get four classes of two subjects every day.
